Darius Nazari
Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in North Carolina since 2017.
Darius was originally hired at Blue Ridge Land Surveying in September of 1996 as an instrument operator. In 1999 he moved down to Florida where he continued to gain surveying experience working for another firm as a field crew chief, mostly performing construction layout for buildings, roads, and sanitary and storm sewer systems.
In April of 2000 Darius returned to the Asheville area where he continued with Blue Ridge Land Surveying with additional experience under his belt. Over the years Ken and Dennis encouraged Darius to continue gaining experience in the land surveying profession, such as mapping and in-depth deed research.
In the summer of 2008 Darius passed the exam for the Land Surveying Fundamentals. In the fall of 2017 he became licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor. He now lives just inside Yancey County, N.C. and commutes to the office in downtown Asheville. Darius is very passionate about his work, and is eager to serve his community by meeting the needs of the client while protecting the welfare of the public.
Graham N. Duls
Graham N. Duls, PLS, began work in Land Surveying in 1998.
Graham studied engineering at NC State University for a few years before deciding his true passion is land surveying. He has worked in surveying in the Asheville, Cashiers, and Sylva areas, since 1998, progressing in responsibility until obtaining his Professional Land Surveyor license in 2009. Graham joined Blue Ridge Land Surveying, Inc. in 2015 and has been instrumental in developing methods of streamlining the work flow through the use of Geographic Information System tools. Graham is a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors, the North Carolina Society of Surveyors and the Western Chapter of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors.
Dennis Campbell III
Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in North Carolina since 1986.
- Graduate of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors Institute.
- Author of Blue Ridge Field Computer System, software for hand held computers, which collects, processes and calculates survey data in the field.
- Expert witness in boundary dispute court cases.
- Past President of the Western Chapter of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors.
- Former adjunct Instructor in the Civil Engineering Surveying/Cad departments at Asheville-Buncombe Community Technical College.
- Provides surveying services for civil and criminal cases.
Ken Mills
Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in North Carolina since 1976.
- Author of numerous articles concerning land surveying including Co-Author of "Following in Their Footsteps"; a history of surveying in North Carolina.
- Taught numerous seminars on surveying topics such as "Searching for Field Evidence", "Writing Land Descriptions", and "Testifying in Court".
- Guest speaker on numerous occasions at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
- President of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors in 1998. President of the Western Chapter of North Carolina Surveyors 1989, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010
- Graduate of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors Institute.
